Celebrating Padrick’s life by creating opportunities for others to experience adventure, connection, and a life fully lived.
A life that connected places and people
Throughout his life, Padrick measured success not by what he had, but by the people he loved and cared for.
Padrick passed away on May 16, 2026, surrounded by family and friends, leaving behind a family and community who loved him deeply. He will be remembered for his kindness, strong work ethic, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends. He had a gift for making people feel valued and cared for, often expressing his love through thoughtful acts of service and quiet generosity.
He enjoyed spending time with family, skiing, traveling, fitness, golfing with his son, Grant, and friends, and creating lasting memories with those he loved. Whether sharing a meal, planning an adventure, or simply enjoying time together, Padrick valued life’s simple pleasures and the relationships that mattered most.
A graduate of The Ohio State University, Padrick formed lifelong friendships and met his first wife, Minthu Nguyen Barrett, who preceded him in death. Together they had a beautiful daughter, Lien.
Above all, Padrick was a devoted father, husband, son, brother, and friend. His love, guidance, humor, and steady presence touched countless lives and will continue to be remembered by all who knew him.

Our mission
We are exploring programs and partnerships that reflect Padrick’s love of adventure, community, family activities, and the outdoors—helping more young people encounter new places, new confidence, and new possibilities.

A developing initiative
The Foundation is exploring a high-school ski-access initiative inspired by Padrick’s love of the mountains. The program is still being developed, including its partners, eligibility, safety, and funding model.
As plans take shape, we will share clear updates about how the initiative works and how support is put to use.

Photos and memories from the people and places Padrick loved will make this a living collection of his story.
Padrick measured success differently than most people. He demonstrated his love through small acts of kindness, generosity, and service to others, creating a legacy defined by how he treated those around him.
